Hello, I'm Dwight Sullivan. Welcome to my home page. I can almost hear you say: "Hey, who's that old buzzard with the sweet lookin' guitar?" Well, I'm a singer, songwriter, character actor and live music junkie in the Triangle area of North Carolina. I've designed this site so you can hear my songs, find my next gig and learn about the three types of services I can contribute to your event.
I came to the songwriter occupation fairly recently (2001) thanks to the encouragement of a fantastic performer, songwriter and great lady named Jamie Anderson. What kind of music do I write? In the words of my good friend, songwriter Jamie Purnell, "very traditional". It's a mixture of Folk, Celtic, Country, even a sprinkling of Popular and Show Tunes, all simmered together in a Mulligan stew of living sentiment. Stroll through the song collections below and judge for yourself. As I launch this site, I've only begun to record my songs. I'll be adding recordings continually, so visit again from time to time and hear it grow.
